Long time no see!
First of all, thank you for bearing with the long delay in follow up on the website, things just got a bit crazy after the first issue came out and I have been unable to keep up since design work started taking up a larger portion of my time.
There was a sponsorship for a book giveaway that almost came close to fruition earlier in the year - for a fiction as well as non fiction title - and having not gone through after a long drawn back-and-forth, we couldn't hold the big promo as planned!
This sort of upset the schedule for the last quarter for our writers promotion and shortly after our writing contributors went into exam season! It doesn't end here.
In the meantime our new Featured Artist Jake Newton hit the studios and went into record his first LP (which we are hoping to showcase on our website!) and we finally have a completed interview that will also be coming out very soon.
But I'm here now to tell you that we're not giving up that easy. More frequent updates and articles are sure to come your way.
The numbers are up on the site - and it seems as though you're really enjoying the Music content on the website ! So I would like to invite you to share artists with us to feature or interview, there is also an opening for contributors if you would like to write with us in a freelance capacity (Write to us if you're interested)!
Seeing that a lot of the interest is coming in for the music content, there is also going to be an additional feature on the website where I'll be sharing some music of indie artists in player on the homepage, so if you wish to share some music with me you can send me an e-mail about songs you want listed on the homepage using the "DropBox - Send me a track" button.
You can even send me a link at "editor (at) downrightfiction (dot) com" and we'll try adding your recommendation into our home player.
