Short Story: Square Peg : Part I

I played hockey with Judd back in high school, but it was as his mother’s guest that I was attending his marriage. When she and I bumped into each other in Nordstrom’s a few years ago, we really hit it off, and have been keeping lunch dates every week or so since. She was sitting at a table talking to some of the other relatives as I entered the reception.

Downright Fiction is an up and coming monthly e-mag that aims to bring a platform to writers of all genres, styles and interests.
It deals with more than just fictitious pieces and wants to help you bring out the best in your written work through the means of an open readership and monthly writer's tasks that will help you sharpen your skills.
We are looking for writers who would like to grow through their various written pieces and also writers who are looking for audiences to read and appreciate their work.
